Blog takeover time! I’m Sydney and I’m the newbie around these parts… so to kick off my new blog series I’ll give a little background.
I’m from Philly (so don’t speak the word ‘patriots’ around me because I’ll probably offend you) and I recently moved to Portland after spending the past two years living just outside of Seattle, Washington. So essentially I have no idea what anyone in Maine is talking about 98% of the time… i.e. why is ‘Down East’ actually up north? What happens if I DON’T love lobster?

I’m in a lifelong love affair with traveling and there are only three continents left that I haven’t been… so I’d love to swap stories! My Bachelor’s is in English Writing and I’m currently putting together some travel essays that one day will hit the shelves.

My other lifelong love affair is wellness. In a world dominated by Corporate Monsters and an endless disconnect from our natural state, it’s more important than ever to have a determined and intentional approach to living well. Life is fleeting. The things we put into our bodies, on our bodies, and around our bodies can be so dangerous this day in age! Sunscreens, prescription medicines, Doritos!!!
But that’s not how we’re going to approach this. We’re going to focus on all the inspiring things happening in our current society that are moving us in the right direction. One step at a time.
